To Orlando and back to Boca RAton

Summing up a wonderfull week in the main attractions of ORlando Thursday JUly 12th DEbra, Kathy, Stav, OMry and NIli left BOca.AFter a three hours of comfortable drive (by KAthy) we arrived to Orlando and chose SEa World to be our first park. This pleasant park was a good beginning;although it was crowded we succeeded in watching the two main shows:SHamou with the whales and the acrobats with the dolphins. We also took a few rides, soft ones, and DEbra began her expertise in standing in lines, so the kids have a shorter time to wait for the attractions. In the afternoon we reached the Hard ROck hotel, had dinner and took our first walk in the local "center of town",full of shops ,shows lights and colors. Friday JUly 13th Breakfast in The KItchen - Hard Rock hotel. OMry ate half of a donut; probably stayed hungry; had a package of bagels in Magic kingdom (7 dollars). Magic kingdom - our first park Very crowded The fast pass system is not very helpful.YOu can use it to pick up a quick pass somewhen in the future (within 1-3 hours), so we collected these quick passes and left representatives (usually Debra) to stay in line where there were no quick passes. We did quit well as a team, and the kids succeeded in having the "big" rides, sometimes even more than be time. Thanks to Debra and Kaythy who led this tour we were in: The Frontier land -splash mountain, one world and more Fantasy land Tomorrow land - space mountain, Buzz spin We skipped LIberty land for the sake of having time in another park. We also had a telephone conversation with PIni, Uzi and NeomyI The Halperin boys arrived, and the good mood that accompanied us became even better. From now on SCot and DOug help Kathy in choosing the coolest rides, and together with Larry, OMry and Stav they had a wonderful timeaking the rides as a group We moved to Holliwood park (used to be MGM) for some more cool rides and more adventures. at 17:00 DOug and KAthy left the park and went back to the hotel in order to be on time when Shabbat enters. All the others watched the MUppet show and then hurried to take the shuttle bus and the monorail to Magic kingdom again . There we saw the magic parade (which we saw without lights at noon) and the fireworks, the castle in the background. At this part of the day (=night)OMry could n't go anymore, so we rented a wheel chair and drove him from place to p lace. Under these conditions we were not able / free to carry out our shopping plans, and we did not buy magic dresses and /or T-shirts from magic kingdom. At the end of this long wonderful day we took the monorail to the parking area, but we found out that Kathy took the key to DEbra's car. A taxi brought us back to the hotel for a good night's sleeping.
